Has anyone attended a concert here? Thinking of booking for April but I was wondering if I need to pre book or can just show up and buy tickets. I have two kids but they are good audience members

Yes, my husband and I attended a Vivaldi concert at Chiesa della Pieta. It was one of the highlights of our time in Venice. The music was outstanding, and you are near the musicians in this special place where Vivaldi actually made music! The seating is somewhat rustic and hard but brings you back to earlier times.

When we were in Venice we bought tickets for the Vivaldi concert early in the day on site for the evening concert. I am not sure what they currently offer.

When we were in Venice 2018 we attended Vivaldi Four Seasons at Chiesadi San Vidal. The interior of the church is exquisite. The concert was excellent. We picked up our tickets in the afternoon. They have a wonderful display of violins. We have been to several Vivaldi concerts & this was our favorite.
