Good day all,
I am going to Chianti Region this summer with my two children (ages 7 and 8).
What you be some recommendations for activities and places to visit?
Thanks,
Nate

Try the Rocca di Staggia (a fortress).
Otherwise I can't think of anything other than a lot of countryside exploring. I don't think there is much that is geared to kids specifically.
Unless you want to introduce them to wine tasting early in life. I started at 4 y.o. after all (my grandpa made wine). However it's illegal to serve alcohol to people under the age of 18, therefore you either pour the wine yourself in your hotel room, or have them drink grape juice.
If you venture into Florence, this Museum should spark the imagination of any child (or adult).

Another interesting thing to do is head to Certaldo and take the funicular up to Certaldo Alto, a small charming village.
Here are a few other ideas.

There’s also a steam train.

Hi all,
Thanks for the travel tips,
Take care,
