We have one day and one night in Chianti. Any suggestions? We will not have a car - traveling by public transportation. The romantic in me is considering staying in one of the castles I keep reading about. We would love to try some good wine - it is Chianti after all. It would be ideal to stay on or near a vineyard (or walking distance to a couple?). We love to drink, eat, learn about the wine. This being our last night - it may be nice to have everything close. Any recommendations of a castle on a vineyard to stay at- does that exist? Any help is appreciated!

There isn't much public transportation out there in the country. Considering your time constraint and objective, I would suggest either signing up for a wine tour, or (2nd choice and comes with complications) renting a car.
The Chianti wine zone is large and has 8 districts. The district known as Chianti Classico is probably the best area, so look for a tour going there.
