Any suggestion of a good hotel you have stayed only in the Chiaia area of Naples, IT?
Yes. We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Alabardieri. It is on small street, very quiet. It’s far from the waterfront where you can walk on the Lungomare. Wonderful breakfasts. Upscale area, felt very safe walking around.
Ozzy,
If it works with your budget, I would highly recommend this hotel - http://www.chiaiahotel.com/napoli/en . It's in a nice area and very comfortable. It's only a short walk from the posh Gran Caffè Gambrinus, where you can enjoy all types of treats. My ancient computer won't allow me to access their website, but this provides an example - https://www.yelp.ca/biz/gran-caff%C3%A8-gambrinus-napoli-3 .
Thank you very much, Ken. That is very helpful.
Correction- it's NOT far from waterfront. Happy to recommend this hotel and it's location!
Dining in Chiaia- Terazza Calabrito was outstanding, food, service.
Another worthwhile hotel on the Piazza Del Plebecito to consider is the Hotel Art Resort Galleria Umberto on the fourth floor of the Galleria. Nice, comfortable large rooms and an wonderful breakfast. Nearby is an excellent restaurant the Osteria Il Gobetto, Vico Sargente Maggiore, 8 - make reservations, wonderful Neapolitan food at reasonable prices.
Actually it's not the best district of Naples, but it's ok
