Checking Covid documents at FCO/Roma, a question

Hello and thank you for your help,

We are traveling to Rome at the beginning of June and have three people in our group who will have letters of recovery from Covid (in addition to two doses of vaccine). I am just wondering if anyone has been given trouble about the details of their letter? Ours include required info listed by CDC, but I am just a little anxious about the actual event of having them checked.

Thank you much!
Erin

Nobody checked anything at FCO when we flew in 3 weeks ago.
We had uploaded our CDC cards to United’s Travel Ready section.
Your airline here will check the documents before you are allowed to board., if you haven’t already uploaded to whatever they use as their “ travel ready”

Actually you’ll not need those letters to enter Italy but will need them to re-enter USA unless you go with a negative test instead.

On departure from Rome I didn’t bother uploading documents. Our test results were checked at check in at FCO
It was easy and efficient.
