We have a British Airways flight from Milan Linate airport at 7:25 AM that goes to London where we catch a flight back to Seattle. How early should we be at Linate to check-in? Does anyone know what time check-in opens for British Airways?

It is required that for an Extra Schengen flight you must have completed the check in 60 min prior to departure. Generally the check in positions open 2 hours prior to departure and since planes going from LIN to LHR are of the A320 family, not big jumbo jets, the check in should not be long. Be in line about 2 hours prior.

We did a similar flight earlier this month. Waited 15 minutes in line to check in as the customer service reps started their morning. Plenty of time get to our gate and sit. Easy airport to navigate.

Our flight was a bit later in the morning but all check in desks were closed and didn’t open until 2 hours before the flight. We took an early taxi from our hotel as I am that person that always wants to be early. Way too early. Carry on only.
It’s a fairly small airport and very efficient.
