Cheap accommodation in Urbino

Hi Everyone,

I have made a few trips to Italy within the past three years and my next one will be to Urbino (Le Marches Region) in April of this year for close to two weeks. I usually stay in hostels.
Have any of you stayed in Urbino at inexpensive lodgings? Being out of town would not really matter, as long as a bus route goes into town. I am checking other sources as well, but wanted for sure to post to this board.

In 2000, we stayed at Albergo Piero della Francesca (outside the walls). It was inexpensive and just fine. They do have "circolare" buses in Urbino, but the walk into town from the hotel wasn't bad either. There are a couple of one- and two-star places with shared baths but I don't have personal knowledge of them. The TI website has a list of affittacamere: www.urbinoculturaturismo.it.
