Charging IPOD and MP3

Not a new topic but our questions not answered. We have a converter kit that has an adaptor for Low and High settings. Can we use it to charge our MP3 and Ipod? We have a Wall to USB port that we would plug into our devices.

I have a wall to USB port charger that does not need a converter. I do have to use an adapter on the plug end.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "an adaptor for low and high settings." Do you mean the converter has low and high settings?

Lets be sure of the correct terminology. A converter changes the 220V to 120v. It could have a switch for high and low wattage demands depending on what is attached to the converter. An adapter allows you to plug a US flat blade plug into the round post like plugs used in Europe. It would not have low or high setting. Your MP3 and Ipod will accept 120 or 220 so just use an adapter for the plug. You will damage this items if using a converter.

the cord for the ipod is dual voltage so just get the adapter plug as suggested above. Check the cords for all your other electronic devices, if they list dual voltage you just need the plug adapter (the part that plugs into the wall) and not the current converter. If they are not dual voltage you need the converter. I have found that most electronics these days are dual voltage.
