Hello,
My journey is from Bolzano to Verona, Verona to Venice Mestre August 17. Both journeys were purchased in one ticket.
Trenitalia informed me that due to infrastructure upgrade, the train from Verona will leave early, which only give me 7 min to transfer instead of the original 22 min. The schedule in the website is now updated to reflect the new timetable.
I have an option to change the time, but it appears I will need to change both journeys, instead of just the Verona to Mestre portion.
I looked at the schedule, none of the option actually give enough time to transfer.
The email from Trenitalia also said if i cancel the trip i can request a refund at Trenitalia office.
I don't see option to cancel a ticket on the website. There is a refund option, but it only give me EUR 0.00 back.
I'm wondering if anyone has similar experience as mine and how did you handle the ticket change?
I should have purchased Bolzano to Verona and Verona to Mestre separately, that would have been easier to manage.
I guess my other option is just keep this tickets and if I can't make the transfer time, I'll just buy new tickets when I get to Verona. Regional train 2nd class does not sell out. Is this correct?
Thank you,
