change in plans, new itinerary

Ugh- unexpectedly we need to change our plans. Now our 15 day trip has been shortened. I'm trying to scramble here to make changes and still see what we want to see (our first time in Italy).

Does this seem reasonable?

Day 1- Travel
Day 2- Venice
Day 3- Venice
Day 4- Florence
Day 5- Florence
Day 6- Florence morning, CT evening
Day 7- CT
Day 8- Pisa, Stay in Siena??? (this is the part I'm really unsure of)
Day 9- Rome
Day 10- Rome
Day 11- Travel

Is Siena the place to stay? Are we trying to cram in too much and should we stay that night in Rome instead? Gosh it is a blow to cut out 5 days. We just can't do it all!!!

Thanks in advance!

I've sung this song before: On a trip that short, cut out the CT. Add time to Venice or Siena.

I agree with Doug. I would cut out CT, save that for your next trip. You can day trip to Pisa. We stayed in Florence, took the train to Pisa, checked our luggage right outside the train station, and walked to the leaning tower (we had reservations to walk up the leaning tower). We spent a little time in Pisa (lunch) and headed to Siena. I really liked Siena and would recommend staying there.

I agree, cut out CT if you have such a short amount of time to spend there. And day trip to Pisa from Siena or Florence - or you could even day trip to Siena from Florence and avoid the change in hotels. You don't have a lot of time in Rome so if you cut out the CT add a time there.
