1 earthquake, 3 aftershocks, wondering if I should go somewhere else for now. Hate to change my plans, but I'm coming from switzerland so anywhere north is not a problem. I was looking forward to eating, but there does seem to be a risk right now.

We were just on a train through Bologna...no problems...didn't see that much damage but the epicenter was probably not near the train tracks. The latest aftershock (last week) was nearer to Modena, west of Bologna.

We were in Bologna for the quakes and there was no damage there. The epicenter was about 50 km from Bologna. We did feel a bit of trembling but that was all. the only problem we had was getting out of Bologna on the morning of the second quake as the entire northern train system was in chaos.
