Centuripe

Has anyone ever been to Centuripe in Sicily? I am doing a family tree trip and my family came from Centuripe. How far is from Catania? Do you need to rent a car to get there? Is there a bus that goes there? Thanks!

Linda: Google is your best friend. I just googled Centuripe myself and can tell you it is 40 km from Catania and 12 km from the nearest railroad station (Catenanuova). Lots more info if you take the time to google.
