Cefalu' Recommendations?

We will be staying in Cefalu' for three nights, basically to just hang out (Il Dolce Far Niente) in a seaside town and get the feeling of a part of Sicily. We live in the desert, so seafood is high on our list. Any recommendations as far as things to see and do, and restaurants to experience? The Duomo and La Rocca are already on our list.
Thanks

I LOVE Cefalu - it was my favorite place in Sicily and one of my favorite places in all of Italy ( but I do have several others.)
I stayed at La Giara hotel

I really enjoyed walking around the town, climbing La Rocca - great views,
and enjoying the beach. There are several really great restaurants in town.
The central square is nice for sitting and having a beverage and watching the locals.
I liked that the main street was pedestrian only.
I also went a puppet show at the puppet museum - pretty interesting.

I hope you love Cefalu as much as I do.
Happy Travels

Thanks Frances,
I was not aware of the puppet museum/theater in Cefalu. I will add it to my list of things to see.

Duomo and La Rocca are the two top sights. They also have a nice museum Museo Mandralisca and check out the old laundry system-lava toio from the 9th century. For seafood try Al Porticciolo or Vecchia Marina. There is also Osteria La Botte a family run traditional Sicilian menu with tasty grilled fish. I had yummy pizza at L'Antica Corte. A lot of restaurants in Cefalu are closed on Monday. That's why I ended up eating pizza one night.

I went to Cefalu last year. I was taking two women for a tour of Rome and Sicily, and we had lots of days of intense touring scheduled, so I scheduled Cefalu just for a relaxing 'beach break' from the tours. We spend a week based in Taormina, and it was amazingly beautiful. We went to Mt. Etna and Syracuse as day trips from there. Stopped in Cefalu for our break.

We stayed in Hotel le Calette, and I will tell you that our jaws absolutely dropped when, after check-in, we passed through the lobby and on to the rear of the hotel with the sea in front of us on our way to our rooms. It was the most beautiful site I've ever beheld in my life!. (The hotel website pics do NOT do it justice, as I don't think any picture could) If there IS a heaven, and I get to go there -- this would be it.

The RS poster stole my restaurant recommendation, as we were so exhausted we stayed in our beautiful hotel every day but one when we ventured into the city and toured the town and the church. PM me if you want any other info on our trip.
