CDC card not as easily accepted now

I have just returned to Italy and for the first time (I've been 5 times as recently as November) I've encountered difficulties with my CDC card not being a Super Green Pass. I am in the small town of Vignola but I've been in much smaller towns in November and didn't encounter any difficulties. I can convert mine since I am a dual citizen so I have contacted the local health department to start the process to receive the authorization code to do this. I didn't have the Italian decree on my phone and just swore to the woman in Italian that I was telling her the truth.

Interesting. I returned from Italy last week (was there for three weeks) and didn't have any problems in Rome, Florence, Venice, or Spello. Often, no one looked closely at my card, but when it was examined, the individual looked for the date of last vaccination to assure that it was within the last 6 months.

What swear words did you use?

You should always use care so they don't misinterpret the meaning. ;-)
