My wife and I are vaccinated and boosted for Covid. Is the CDC card adequate for train travel in Italy?
You just have to where a mask. There is no checking of vaccination status when traveling by train or public transportation within Italy
I do not know the current status of regulations, but Italy has in the past required a Green Pass (Proof of vaccination, recovery, or testing) for traveling on trains requiring a reservation, basically the fast trains...but not regional trains or local transit. It has also been required on internal flights.
In both cases, the CDC card is accepted.
Ok I may have given the wrong info based on my experience 7 months ago. This is the most up to date
