CD Players in Rental Cars

I am leaving tomarrow night (yipppeeee) for Italy!! Last minute question....does anyone know if the rental cars come with a standard CD player like they do hear in the US? Will be going all over Italy. Any other helpful tips would be appreciated!

We rented a car twice via Hertz from the airport (a Renault and a Mercedes) both of which came with a CD player.
