My wife and I will be in Rome December 19 thru 22nd and are looking for a catholic faith guide for private tours of Rome
You might try contacting someone at one of the American centric churches in Rome.
St. Patrick's does offer some services to visitors: https://stpatricksamericanrome.org/pilgrims/
St Patrick's is probably the better bet, Santa Susanna was the official American church, but over the last several years, activities and the parishioners have migrated to St Patrick's.
There is a third church, St Pauls Within the Walls, but run by the Episcopalians, so maybe not what you are looking for.
There is a guide based in Rome, my guess is grew up in the U.S. He runs tours to various religious places in Europe and also does tours in Rome. I'm sure if he can't do it, he'd recommend someone else. I follow him on Facebook. I am not catholic, but I enjoy what he posts. He also has a website https://thecatholictraveler.com/. He goes by the first name, "Mountain". I've also seen him working with Sarah Murdoch, former RS guide who now owns and runs Adventures with Sarah.
I also wonder if your home church or diocese office might have suggestions.
