My husband and I are on the Best of Sicily Tour which ends in Catania on 11/2/22 at the Hotel Romano House. We will stay in Catania for an additional night and need a hotel recommendation, We plan on going to Vizzini on 11/3/22 (the birthplace of my father’s family), We aren’t sure of the best way to do this. Any suggestions for either a hotel recommendation and/or travel to Vizzini recommendations are very appreciated. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help us!

I checked the interbus.it website and it didn’t show any busses from Catania to Vizzini for your dates. I’m not sure if there’s another company or not. If it was me, and for the limited amount of time you’ll be there, I’d just rent a car. That might be quicker than waiting for a bus that doesn’t run that frequently. Vizzini is probably 1.5 hours from Catania airport.

Are you unable to stay another night in Hotel Romano? Are they sold out? Have you contacted them to check? That seems the easiest if possible. I always use Hotels.com to book, always something available it seems for any date.
