I could use some advice from those familiar with Catania. We will be arriving in Catania at 10:00 p.m. After we pick up luggage and a rental car it will be pretty late, and I will be tired. What I am looking for is a hotel, probably a business type, that is quick and easy to find. I have not driven in Sicily in 25 years and I want to ease into it :) Not worried about an authentic Italian experience for this first nigh. We will be leaving Catania the next day. Simply looking for someplace easy and close. Any ideas? p.s. this is a great group. I have worked my way through a couple of years of back-posts and have found some awesome tips!

I went with Il Gelso Bianco. It looks like an average business hotel. Close to the airport, outside of the main city, and easy to get into and out of in the middle of the night when driving in Sicily for the first time in 25 years :) http://www.gelsobianco.it/ If it is either awesome or horrible I will post an update.
