We did Mt Etna. World War 2 musuem. Walking tour of Catania and rained out Taormina.
We don't have a car,so either a day tour close by or something we should not miss in Catania

Palazzo Biscari, or Teatro Massimo Bellini, or Via Crociferi, or check to see if the weekend flea market is open, or maybe a train ride on the Circumetnea Railway. Make sure you go into the main Piazza del Duomo in the evenings. There are often dancers in period costumes doing ballroom style dancing.
