My grandchildren loved the catacombs in Paris - lots and lots of spooky skulls and bones. We will be in Rome and they would like to see more. I prefer not going to the catacombs on the Appian Way; too many tour groups. Are the Catacombs of Priscilla interesting? Would they capture young children (ages 6-8yrs)?
Thanks.
If they want to see bones take them to the Crypt of the Capucchin Monks.

The Catacombs of Priscilla doesn't have bones on display, if that's what you're looking for. Same with the others, as far as I know (we've done San Sebastiano). The Capuchin Crypt, however, is another story so you might take a look at that one?
I just checked out the crypt website. It is exactly what they are looking for...thanks!
