Castello di Verrazzano - Is there a guided tour that picks up in Florence?

Has anyone been to Castello di Verrazzano and do you know if there is a guided tour (small group) that picks up in Florence?

I suggest emailing them. I know they have a store front in Florence.

If you're adventurous, you could take the bus from Florence to Greve. You could spend the morning in Greve, then hire a cab for the 5-10 minute ride to the winery. That way you could spend as much time as you want.

We used Castillo di Verrazzano as our agriturismo base of operations in Tuscany. We drove from Rome. Their hours vary by season (we were there in December), so you'll need to check the tour times, etc. I highly recommend doing the tour and the exquisite food and wine tasting afterward. I suggest a light breakfast and dinner, though.

Our tour started at 11:00 and ended up at 12:30. We then sat down for the food and wine tasting. You start out with prosecco and an appetizer. Then you are served various dishes that they pair with their Chiani Classico, Chianti Reserva and their Super Tuscan. Along the way, you get to taste their wonderful balsamic vinegar and finish up with vin Santo and biscotti. Since we were staying there and had booked off the day, we didn't finish until 4:00! You don't have to take that long, though.

On top of the tasting, the owner and his wine makers were in tasting the new vintage. The owner kept coming to our table and pouring a taste from unmarked bottles to get our opinion. It was truly an amazing experience, one of the highlights of a 10 day dream trip in Tuscany.

sounds amazing and the pictures online of the property look beautiful. We are going in June and will be in Florence June 13th and 14th, 2020.
