I browsing the Forum, I was surprised to only find one thread that even mentions Castello della Manta and its 1400s frescoes. Does anyone have experience visiting this site? Thoughts? Impressions?

We visited this castle a few years ago when we were staying in Saluzzo for a couple nights —- loved it! The frescoes in one room, especially the Fountain of Youth, are exactly the kind of quirky paintings I go to Italy to see.
Ate at a nice little restaurant called Vecchio Camino just down the hill from the castle.
