Anyone stayed at Casa Kita in Cortona? Rick calls it a homely place in Florence 2011 book. Hope it was misspelled and he meant homey.
There aren't a lot of reviews on Tripadvisor, but the ones there are all positive. It's an easy walk into the main part of town from there, if you will have a car, I'd check with them about parking. We stayed at the Villa Marsili in April 2009 and were able to find parking just up the street.
I stayed at Casa Kita in May. It looks at bit out of the way on the RS map, but is only a 1-2 minute walk from the main street and bus stop. There are some stairs going down to Casa Kita, but not a lot. Rooms are nice with large bath, and it has a nice terrace. Breakfast is minimal and you must brew your own coffee. I think homely is an error and that Rick intended to say homey.
