Is this acceptable to "Carryon" for Alitalia airlines roundtrip Catania from FCO?
Handbaggage: Backpack (weight limit: 8kg)
measures within "hand Baggage" limits of:
55cm x 35cm x 25cm
and
Personal item: American tourister 4kicks rolling tote
measures within 36cm x 45cm x 20cm

Do you mean Alitalia? Yes, that is fine. I have flown Alitalia several times the past two years within Italy with similar bags, no problems at all.

They can not charge you if it happens that the flight is full and they need passengers to check baggage
