Has anyone done the Carrara Marble quarry tour, and what did you think? Also, if you have been to the Carrara's Marble Museum, those thoughts would be helpful as well. Thank you!

We did it while on tour (with Tauck) 10 years ago and I thought it was fascinating. The view from up there is quite nice, too. We did not go to a marble museum, just a nice shop where we also got our hard hats and safety (visibility) vests.
Not necessarily a good experience for someone prone to motion sickness, though. The roads are winding and rough.

We did the Carrara Marble quarry tour this past May. Very enjoyable and highly recommend visiting. On the tour they drive you into the "Cava" an active mine. We did not do the Museum because it was not open at the time.
