We are a family with 2 children (8 & 11) planning a trip to Venice in Feb of 2008. We would like to experience some of carnivale. If we have 4 days, should they all be during carnivale or should we try a day or two before or after carnivale? Any suggestions regarding what there is to do or see during this time? Are tourists invited to participate in the activities? Do tourists dress in costumes? ARe there any aspects of carnviale that we should or shouldn't miss? Thank you, Jody
