We will be in Florence during the Carnival which is in Viareggio. I see that there is public transportation to Viareggio. The parade is at 4:00 but I'm concerned about making the train or bus back to Florence in the evening. Has anyone made this trip? Normally the Carnival is in Feb but due to covid it has been postponed till Sept/Oct. This would be something very special to see.

The last train to Florence from Viareggio is at 22:00.

thanks Jazz, with so many trains and buses I just wasn't sure which was the best. We're in the middle of changing plans due to the carnival so I didn't want to make a mistake and not have a place to stay. Just a new adventure
