I have a dilemma: we are travelling by car from Agropoli to Ragusa and are concerned with the length of the drive. Any suggestions.

If I selected the correct cities, its about a 400 mile drive with a ferry ride a little past mid-way. What is the concern?
To me the ferry ride looks like the perfect 'rest stop'.
