We are 8 people needing car (van) and driver to take us from Naples train station to Pompeii, then Pompeii to Mt. Vesuvius, and Mt. Vesuvius to Naples train station. We found a company "gettransfer.com" that provides this service most reasonably but we can't find any references for some of the drivers. Has anyone used this company in Italy? What was your experience? What companies are most cost effective? We are doing this on our own and getting tours at the sites. Tour companies w/ transportation were much more expensive. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to get a quote from Mondo Guide which is recommended by Rick Steves and by a number of posters on this forum. They have vans that would handle your group and could tailor the trip to your needs.
