I agree with Zoe's post, and want to amplify what she is saying. If someone takes the bus from Malpensa to Turin and has no difficulty, they are highly unlikely to post anything about it. If they have a problem, they can't wait to go online and tell everyone just what happened. That's not to say the scary stories you are reading are not accurate - for that person. But think of all the people who took that bus and had no difficulty.
To put in in reverse, lots of Europeans are terrified to visit the US, since they see all the reports about how many murders there are, how everyone carries a gun everywhere, how much drug addiction there is even in rural areas, etc. If you believed the hype, visiting American would be up there with visiting Yemen or Darfur.
Looking at the Malpensa to Turin bus, it only makes three stops - Malpensa terminal 1, Malpensa terminal 2, and Turin. So there's not a lot of opportunity for luggage to be stolen (it's under the bus).
I don't know about car services from Malpensa, but I'm sure you can find one. Do be aware that it will probably cost about €200 or more. Here is a list from the airport's own website of official taxi services at the airport; you can Google them to get e-mail addresses, then e-mail them directly for quotes: http://www.milanomalpensa-airport.com/en/directions-and-parking/by-taxi
