Car Service from FCO to Rome Hotel

We're flying into Rome (FCO) at 1400 and were looking at getting a car service to the Hotel Sonya.

We've considered the Leonardo Express, but after three countries and countless hours traveling it might be nice to just sit back and let someone else drive us directly to where we need to be and just relax on the way and not have to walk once the train arrives.

Can anyone recommend a car service? I've read that Rome Cabs is decent, and I've also heard of someone named Sergio & Partners that is a service. Has anyone used either of these lately or is there another one?

Thank you in advance!!!!!!

I like to get people's personal experience to go along with a recommendation from a hotel when making a decision.

Hotels in the center city cost $50-55 to reach by taxi, and there are plenty of taxi's waiting at the airport. It's the easy way to get to your hotel.
If you went on the Leonardo Express, a one-way ticket costs €14 each--not inexpensive. And then you'd have to get to your hotel from Rome Termini.
Just take a taxi to your hotel--no hassle dealing with your luggage, etc.

Contact Romacab. In spite of the name is not a taxi company. Many here have used them. And as stated the taxi from the airport is fixed at 48 euro during the for up to 4 passengers and somewhat higher for late night.

Have used RomeCabs many times and have always been happy with their service. We just send an email with our particular needs and get a reply in less than a day. If they are booked up and unable to accommodate you, don't hesitate to use their recommendation for another service. The problem with having any hotel make the arrangements is you might get a car service or the desk clerk's brother in law. That happened to us once at five o'clock in the morning, but there were four of us and only one of him so we didn't have any safety concerns.

Is suppose you know, but Hotel Sonya is only about 5 blocks or 600 meters from Termini rail station. Sidewalks are decent.

Following up on Laura's post, we were over on Via delle Quattro Fontane on one of our trips, not far from the corner of Via Nazionale so just a bit further away from the station than you will be, and had no issues just walking to our hotel. Being a short, on-foot distance from Termini was one of the reasons we chose the area you'll be in. Anyway, do a virtual google walk to see what you think?

Another vote for Rome Cabs. Our very nice driver met us just outside baggage. Carried our bags across the street to parking lot, and then gave us a mini tour of some of the major sites in Rome near our hotel before dropping us off.
I highly recommend them.
