Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for either car service or shuttle from FCO Airport to Anguillara. There will be 6 of us with luggage and after flying to get to Rome we thought would be easier than taking train to Anguillara. Thanks for any suggestions-recommendations. Linda
Linda, A car service for six plus luggage will require a larger vehicle, which I suspect is not going to be cheap. I'm not aware of any car services that offer service from FCO to Anguillara. Travel by rail will certainly be more effort, especially after a long international flight. However it's not a long trip, so if cost is an issue, rail travel might be the way to go. There appears to be numerous departures to Anguillara from Roma Ostiense station, with a travel time of 0H:53M. The only route I'm aware of would be to take the Leonardo Express from the airport to Roma Termini (DON'T forget to validate!), Metro to Piramide (Line B, direction Laurentina) and then walk to Ostiense. There may be another method of getting to Ostiense - check the Ron In Rome website. Good luck and happy travels!
For airport transfers by private car/taxi you need a noleggio con conducente, aka NCC, (car rent with driver) you can google:
noleggio con conducente Roma (or also Fiumicino or Anguillara). I looked into one company and it's about 90 euro: http://www.foxtransfer.eu/from-rome-fiumicino-airport-to-anguillara-sabazia.it.html
