My husband and I have been going to Italy for many years and it is definitely our favorite country of any we have visited. We are now 79 and 80 and need a bit more assistance than previously. Maybe a lot more! Last year we were going from Santa Margherita Ligure to our hotel at the Milan airport and we got a car service from City Taxis out of England). He handled all baggage and drove us safely and speedily to our destination for $300 US. It was a splurge, of course, but so easy. We plan to go again in May and would like the name of a car service to meet our plane in Florence and deliver us to the apartment we are renting, perhaps do a day tour for us to San Gimignano and then take us from Florence to Santa Margherita. Subsequently we will be going to the Milan Airport. Has anyone dealt with a company they consider to be reputable and reliable - and reasonable? If so, any information will be greatly appreciated.
