We are arriving In Siena via train, and picking our car up from Avis at the Siena downtown office. I'm curious about the trek we'll be taking once we get off the train to the rental car office. Are we going to be walking up a hill, or is there a bus or something we can take to the car rental office. The car rental office is on via Simone Martini.

I just looked on google street view. You might give it a try it can be helpful in areas that are unfamiliar.
It appears to be a mostly level 18 min walk along fairly busy streets. The office has a coffee shop next door.
I would try to get a cab if it were me.

No worries. Rehabbing so it was something to do…
We always rent a car in Italy and google street view is great for checking out the route to the hotel, etc.
I like to have an idea what I am getting into.
