Car rental return - Senia or Florence

We are renting a car in Orvietto. After Orvietto, we are spending two nights in Montepulciano (one day of wine tasting) before heading into Siena for two days and one night.

Is it better to drop our Hertz rental car off in Siena and take the bus to Florence or park outside of Siena, explore and continue the drive to Florence? Per the logistics, it looks like it is more efficient to take the bus into Florence.

Another option is to hire a guide from Siena to Florence, so we can take the trip at our leisure?

It's up to you. However if you want to keep the car while in Siena, you should make sure that your hotel is outside of the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) and possibly has parking on premises (or arrangements with some garage nearby).
