Our family of four are staying in Vernazza for a couple of days in late September. We then intend renting a car and travelling to Tuscany (with a short stop in Pisa).
My question is - is it better to rent our car in Le Spezia or Pisa Airport?
I realise Le Spezia is a shorter train journey, however, there does not appear to be large range of vehicles to select from and the rental offices close in the middle of the day for a few hours.
Pisa Airport does have a large range of vehicles, but is it too tricky navigating our way to the rental area at the airport lugging our bags and possibly wasting time unnecessarily?
