We are renting a car through Hertz. I have obtained an international drivers permit and talked with my credit card company regarding insurance. I realize that Italy requires you to carry their own insurance. What other items might I need - for example - a copy of my own auto insurance, etc. Realize that driving in Italy is not like driving in the United States. We plan to drive to Tuscany and then leave the car in Florence. Nancy

FYI - your personal auto insurance with not cover you outside the US. We are planning on adding a gps to our rental setting it to English for our drive through Tuscany and then down to the Amalfi coast.
