Does anyone have a recommendation for car rental in La Spezia? We will be leaving CT and traveling to Tuscany, staying in Siena...yes, we have parking...for 2 nights and then heading to Rome. I'm thinking we rent a car in La Spezia, drive through Greve and San Gimignano and end up in Siena. Next day we drive down through the Val d'Orcia region and back to Siena for the night. The turning in car and heading to Rome via train.

They are part of the same corporate group, but check prices with both. They work with major rental companies. In my experience using them, prices tend to be cheaper with Europcar, or sometimes Hertz.
Your pickup location will be La Spezia.
Your drop off location could be any of the following:
-Chiusi
-Orvieto (Hertz only)
-Roma Tiburtina station (this location is very easily accessible from the freeway)
I wouldn't choose Siena as a drop off, since from Siena to Rome by train you need to go to either Chiusi or Florence first.
If you go from Siena to Rome with public transport, I think the Sena bus is better. That bus will drop you off at the Tiburtina station in Rome.
