Morning,
My soon-to-be wife and I will be flying into Marco Polo airport and wanted to know where best to rent a car to take to Slovenia and back. Only catch is we need it to be automatic. Suggestions?

Shouldn't be difficult. You may pay a bit more for a it, and let them know you are taking it to Slovenia. Just reserve like you were renting a car at a North American airport. Be sure to get an International Driving Permit from AAA.

According to www.autoeurope.com, Europcar at Venice airport does have automatics to rent. That's the company I've rented through the last couple of times. Do tell them in which countries you plan to drive, so that insurance and other paperwork will be in order.
