I am planning to rent a car from Palermo airport and returning it to Catania airport in Oct.2025. Has anyone rented from EasyTrapani before and if so, are they reliable?

Never heard of them but I can vouch for Sixt. I use them for every trip I take to Italy or Spain now......they have agencies at both Catania and Palermo airports.
The staff at Catania airport went out of their way for us a few months ago, even driving us to the taxi stand outside arrivals from the parking lot. Ask for Giuseppe, the manager.
Love Sixt and am renting again from them in Spain next week.

Do not rent from smaller or newer car rental companies such as EasyWhatever, and don't decide on price alone. Use one of the major companies - Avis-Budget, Hertz, Europcar, Sixt. Only book it direct with the rental company or the well-established broker AutoEurope. Be sure every driver has an International Drivers Permit (in the US, go to AAA).

We have rented from Sicily By Car twice with no issues. We were upgraded for free to larger cars both times.
