car rental at Florence airport

I'm returning to Tuscany in October. This time I'm flying into Florence; last year was Pisa. I rented a car from Hertz last year and noticed that the service was better (and faster) --very long lines at some of the other rental company pickup counters. This year I was going to use Hertz again. But I've gotten quotes that are significantly less expensive (notably Kemwel, Argus and Sixt). I'm tempted by the low prices, then remember the long lines at the pickup counters. Is it a question of you get what you pay for? Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.

A car's a darn car. Have you ever thought that maybe the long lines are where the best deals are?

I used www.kemwel.com this year. However that is not a rental company. That is a consolidator. The actual rental company for me was Europcar. Kemwel works primarily with Avis, Europcar and Hertz. Just get the best price (whether through kemwel or directly with any car rental company).
If you are staying in Florence for a few days first, you might want to consider renting from the city rather than at the airport location. The airport pick up always carries extra costs.
I generally don't care about which company I rent from. Avis, Budget, Hertz, Sixt, Europcar. I've used them all. I just go with the one that gives me the best price. Long lines have often nothing to do with anything. They can be random.
As Ed says. A car is just a darn car.

I'd choose by price and convenient location. I have not had any problem with Kemwel/Auto Europe. Anything can cause a long line at a particular time, from popularity/best price to staff lunch hour.
