Car rental at Civitavecchia or Tuscany?

We will be arriving on a cruise ship on a Sunday (July 4) at Civitavecchia and plan to spend 3 days in Tuscany. It doesn't look like the Autoeurope is open on Sundays. Any recommendations about other car rentals there or should we take a train to a town in Tuscany and go from there?
