Is there a car rental facility near the Campobasso train station? The only one I could find is Campobasso North, which seems to be a long distance from the train station. Thank you.

I checked AutoEurope.com, and they don't show any rental agency for that city. Campobasso is not on any major roads, and pretty much off the beaten path. If you found one car rental agency, it's probably the only one there.
Many places in Italy only have a car dealer that rents cars, and they don't have any car rental agencies. They're mostly reserved for larger cities.

There are no rental companies in Campobasso because Molise is a region that does not exist. It is a mythical place like Atlantis or Shangri-La, but in reality there is no such a thing.
