Capuchin Catacomb Visit in Palermo

Our 9th RS tour will be a repeat of Sicily in September 2020.
A must see this time are the Capuchin Catacombs in Palermo. Reviewing the website it appears the entrance fee is 3 euros and that reserving online was not an option.
For those who have visited the catacombs, please share your feedback. Curious if there are the same lines/ticket issues as the Catacombs in Paris.
Also...would love a recommendation for a foodie tour in Palermo. In other areas of Europe, we have used “ With Locals” for this type tour but unfortunately not an option in Palermo.
Thanks in advance for the advice!

No line 5 years ago. Go to the cemetery next door. We walked there and ate at a corner casual cafe. Very good but very local. It was near the crypt maybe 2 or 3 blocks.

Was there just last week. No line at all about 10 in the morning. Walked right up and bought a ticket and entered. Just a handful of visitors there at that time. Quite an interesting place. I wasn't sure whether or not I really wanted to go but I was glad I did. Doesn't take that long to go through.
