Has anyone here been to Capua? How did you get there: train or car? If we went by train, is it small enough to walk around and see sights? We heard this is where the gladiators trained and the colliseum is still there. Also, my friend's family comes from Capua. Any help would be appreciated.

Capua is less than an hour by train from Napoli Centrale. Trains are frequent. I've been there twice as daytrips. The arena is tremendous and there are some other interesting sites as well. It is small enough to walk around but there are buses as well. I don't recall a TI office. You should do some research online, this is a very interesting area. Cumae is nearby (train or bus) and has a great archeological zone.
Thank you both, Zoe and Michael. I've done minimum research but will start soon. My friend and I want to find our ancestral homes. Her's is a little easier than mine. Her's is Capua which is more known than my grandmother's tiny village of Squillani, in a mountain area of Avellino.
