Capri Tour & Amalfi Hike Question

Hello!

We are booking our trip to the Amalfi Coast & Capri and are hoping you all can assist?

Has anyone booked tours of Capri (we'd like to explore and spend another day guided).

They advertise as featured in Rick Steves.

Also, we really would like to hike Path of the Gods. We have stays in Sorrento and Amalfi (not near the hike we understand).
What advice/info/tips can you provide us as how best to pursue this hike from one of these cities?

Our guide for the Path of Gods actually took care of our transpiration to where the Path of the Gods starts. Not sure when your trip is but you will want to get started early because of the heat? We used Zia Lucy as our guide and she was great. You can find her on online. Otherwise you will need a taxi/ car service or bus. But I don't know how early bus's start running.

From Amalfi it is easy to get to the start of the Path. Take the bus to Agerola/Bomerano from Amalfi. Following the Path from Bomerano will lead you towards Positano and I think has the prettiest views. You will end up above Positano in Nocelle and can walk down (LOTS of stairs) or take the small bus down to Positano and catch the ferry back to Amalfi. FYI in Nocelle at the end of the Path there is a great little caffè called Il Chiosco del Sentiero degli Dei. They served great panini.
