Capri tour

We are going to be in Amalfi for 4 days in early July. We are staying at an AirBnB in Amalfi, and the host has let us know that they can help us arrange tours, and one of the ones they offer is a boat tour of Capri. The price seems reasonable (there are 8 of us), it is for 8 hours and involves going out, seeing the Blue Grotto, circling Capri, option to get off if we want, drop off at a restaurant afterwards for dinner, etc.

I am inclined to just go with the AirBnB host, and book through them. My husband thinks maybe we should find an actual tour company, etc.

Any recommendations here? Is it generally considered ok to go with an AirBnB host? They have great reviews online, etc. If we didn't go through the AirBnB, where would we go to look for reputable recommendations offering this kind of a tour?

An enthusiastic second for Mondo. We are a family of four - this Capri boat trip was the highlight of our three week Italian trip. My young adult sons assert that this was the best day of their trip. We were on a boat with 12 people max (ours had 10), and were the first ones out that morning. Our crew opted to trust our skipper who offered to drop us early at the smaller port to ensure we got up to Anacapri before the hordes landed and push Blue Grotto to the afternoon after that circus calmed, and we all agreed. Best decision ever.

We got up to the chairlift with minimal hassle and got the benefit of glorious views with only a handful of people - it was the polar opposite as we worked our way back down into the madness. We grabbed a beverage at the top and ate our caprese sandwich with glorious views; swam in the Mediterranean and did the ultra touristy but just great fun Blue Grotto.

Can't opine on Air BnB tour group, but would 100% do Mondo again in a heartbeat.
