Capri tour

Hi there-

My husband and I are trying to figure out the best way to get from Positano to Capri on our Honeymoon. We are really wanting to include a boat tour of sorts to be able to see all of the grottos around Capri and the Faraglioni. Does anyone have any good suggestions on companies that may be able to accommodate this? We could also just take the normal ferry from Positano to Capri and then do one of the boat tours that leaves from Capri. Any suggestions on either are appreciated!

We took the ferry to capri then reserved a small boat tour at the arrival dock for that day. There are a few companies all seemed similiar. Wecenjoyed it very much. The seas were calm that day also. Our boat had about 12 passengers an english guide and a captain.
U did not say what time of yr u ate going, schedules vary based on season.

We took a private yacht to Capri. It isn't easy seeing the grottos as they are all busy and have waiting lines.

We used Tours of Capri (www.toursofcapri.com) for a wonderful private tour of Capri (they have a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor (out of 446 reviews). Our guide met us at the dock in Sorrento and escorted us to Capri on the ferry. When we arrived in Capri, there was an open air car with a canopy overhead that drove us around the island. Our guide tailored the tour to our tastes and even suggested a great place for lunch (where I had the best ravioli of my life!!). Our tour guide was really good (spoke perfect English) and we had a truly wonderful day. We went into the Blue Grotto, took a chair lift to the top of Monte Solaro, and also took a boat ride around the island and to the Faraglioni rocks. It was well worth the money because we saw and did so much more than we would have on our own. It was very relaxing because we didn't have to worry about the logistics of getting around the island on our own and they timed everything so as to minimize waiting in lines. We went to the Blue Grotto first thing in the morning while the lines were short & our guide took us to the front of the chair lift line. (I suggest taking the chair lift to the top of the island, if it's a clear day, as the views are wonderful). Have a wonderful time.
