Capri Italy

We would like to do an overnight or a day trip from Rome to Capri. What is the easiest way to do this with 3 adults and 2 teenagers? Any reputable tour companies or guides you can recommend?

Thanks!

The daytrips are over 100e per person. Viator offers tours as does Caranni http://www.carrani.com. It's easy to make this trip on your own, Rick's books provide great instructions on how to take the ferry.

Would you take the train from Rome to Naples? And then take the ferry to Capri from Naples?

If you go-do not miss going into the blue grotto on the little boats, it's the highlight of Capri and fabulous!

I agree with SamSn. Do Capri on your own, take the train and the ferry and do the Blue Grotto-there are signs for the Blue Grotto boats immediately after you get off the ferry. But don't miss Anacapri-take the bus or a taxi up, and then take the chairlift up to Mt. Solaro for fabulous view of the Faraglioni rocks! Back in Capri town, follow signs to Natural Arch-it was an easy walk with incredible scenery. Go to the TI at the top of the funicular and get a Capri map for more walks-we literally pointed to the amazing postcard shots, asked "Dove?" and they would point out the paths to go see these sights! We fell in love with Capri!
